Pocket Open Access is a simple app that gives access to Open Access research. The app uses the CORE collection of over 200 million Open Access research papers.
I developed the app in my own time, with two aims in mind – an app that people with restricted access to the internet and no access to paid for content subscriptions can use to access the wealth of research that is freely available, and then download it to their phone for offline use. The other aim is to help me develop my mobile app development skills.
